Sean David Bossert Obituary (2024)

Sean Bossert was born on June 30, 1982, in Wenatchee, Washington. He attended schools in Wenatchee and Yakima and completed his education at the Tongue Point Job Corps Center, in Astoria, Oregon. In 2021, Sean moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he met the love of his life, Alexis. In Pittsburgh, Sean was a member of the Elk's Club and was baptized into the Allegheny Center Alliance Church. He enjoyed his time there, wandering the Pennsylvania countryside, attending car shows, and exploring historic sites. Sean had a deep love for the arts, especially drawing, old architecture, and cars, with a particular fondness for classic and exotic vehicles, especially VW Beetles. He was also drawn to the water, spending cherished moments at Lake Chelan with friends, and at his grandparent's cabin in Indianola with family. Sean had a special gift with animals, particularly cats, and could befriend even the most exclusive ones. Above all, Sean cherished his 14 year old daughter, Abbie. Their time together was precious to him, and he took great pride in watching her grow into the young woman she is today. His love for her was deep and unwavering. Sean had a big laugh and an infectious smile. There was nothing more joyful than hearing him laugh. His humor and warmth will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. Sean is preceded in death by his father, David Bossert, sister, Kaylyn Bossert, and grandparents, Dave and Jean Bossert, Estelle Glantz, and Pete Pratto. He is survived by his mother, Louisa Pratto, daughter, Abbie, brothers, Pete Omlin, Thomas Bossert, and Robert Bossert, and numerous family members, friends, and loved ones. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society or the Jim Eisenreich Foundation for children with Tourette Syndrome.
